TODAY!!!

Posted by resonanteye on July 14, 2009

ACTIONToday is the only day we have, we don’t have tomorrow, the next day. Only today.

Will we regret, later on, not having done everything we could, as hard, as strong, as much as we could? YES!!! We will regret it! LIVE NOW, now is the time. We have today! Today is amazing! Action is in the air, sparks are everywhere, and there’s no reason not to do EVERYTHING!

Life is for living! Go outside! Run around! Paint, draw, sing, dance, scream, party, rage, laugh, leap!!! DO SOMETHING because you won’t ever get today again! EVER! You have to use it up right now! You may as well laugh and jump and have fun, do cool things, throw your body around like it’s made of rags and stitches! LIVE IT UP, living is so good for you. Doing the things you love is what your life is for!

If you have to work, work as fun and as hard and as well as possible, don’t do things half-assed, you don’t get to live twice! DO IT ALL THE WAY THE FIRST TIME! If you’re in love LET GO AND GIVE IT ALL YOU’VE GOT! If you’re mad beat someone up! If you’re sad CRY LOUD!

Today means everything. It’ll never be today again! It’ll be gone! You’ll have wasted it! You won’t regret doing everything as hard and as much as possible, you won’t, I promise! Years from now you won’t sit around thinking “I wish I’d been more lazy, and less motivated!” I PROMISE!!!

You don’t need more SPARE time, you need more ACTION! We all need to use it up! All of it! Don’t waste a drop! I mean it, I’m serious as hell right now, throw yourself in, because you’re stuck here anyway!

It’s the best day! TODAY!

tracing spaces

Posted by resonanteye on August 28, 2008

When I get someone who wants something done on an awkward part of ther body, I encounter a tracing dilemma. See, I personally find it easier and less stress-inducing to just do a few thumbnails and then draw with marker ono skin the day of their appointment.

This costs a bit more in time, because I don’t charge them for this drawing time, but it takes the pressure off me to draw something that will fit three dimensions, on a two-dimensional paper. There ARE ways to do it, though. Not necessarily secret ways, just ways to make tracing an area easier for everyone involved. Read the rest of this entry »

hobo how-to, makin an old-timey drawing

Posted by resonanteye on November 12, 2007

Here’s an old timey post for you guys. Also, thanks to street carnage for alerting the spambots to my existence, and thanks to their readers for reminding me that being independent and working hard is no substitute for being “pretty in the face”! Doesn’t matter though, TV carnage kept me sane when my bum ticker was acting up, so they’re fine in my book…also, I agree with them.
